I have read many books on the law of attraction. I will say I have a fair share of the secret behind LOA. Rhonda Byrne is one of the best selling Arthur in this field. I had access to her best seller The Power.
You can download The Power, both the ebook and audio here for free:

It changed many things in my live and I am recommending it to everyone on this website.
The Power of ‘NOW’ Statements
First, consider this - we have all heard of affirmations and mantras. ‘Now Statements’ are not much different, they just start off with a command; ‘Now I’, and the rest of the sentence structured as if whatever you’re looking to accomplish already has been. If you can close your eyes and draw a picture of something as if it already is, then this absolutely can be. If you can add emotions to the point that you really can ‘feel’ the emotional sensations, you are amplifying the probability of your success to attain it.
Let’s look at this just a little closer. Thinking in terms of a normal sentence there is not much impact. But when you look at it as ‘Now I’, being a command to your subconscious mind, it carries a different gravity.
It’s like computer programming. In order for a computer program to work, it has to go through a series of ‘if-then’ commands to do anything when you click a button. Your brain and subconscious mind are the same. Your conscious mind delivers the command and your subconscious mind follows through with a series of ‘if-then’ statements pertaining to your personal circumstances that represent taking you from where you are to where you want to be..
Thinking of the parts of your mind in this way, to create a new habit, or change a habit, you must reprogram your subconscious to deliver a different result. The only difference is, in a computer it is an automatic change, resistance free, by way of typing it in and it’s done. Your subconscious takes a lot more coaxing and convincing. Therefore, we use a heavy repetition of mantras/affirmations for several weeks before we can expect an auto response/auto execute to start taking hold with little to no effort. What most people ignore or are unaware of here is, it’s not really the words but the repetition of emotional feelings brought about by those words. That’s why I so frequently refer to ‘sincerity’.
Habits, behaviors and beliefs are the accumulation of ideas (whether ours or imposed by others), held and digested, which have been installed over a period of time with a degree of thoughtless repetition to the point that they are automatically executed or cause automatic emotional response with little to no thought. Once they have become strong enough for auto-execute, if questioned, the EGO jumps in to defend these ideas even if the proof presented shows that these ideas are erroneous. This is why it is so difficult to change a habit or belief. Even if founded in 100% inaccuracy, even if you can intelligently see they are 100% inaccurate.
At this point it has nothing to do with logic. It is wired into your subconscious as part of your emotional make-up. But with understanding of how this works and a plan of action, it’s much easier to make positive changes or manifest your desires into reality.
Some mock the idea of repetition in this way. It is true that there are other ways to accomplish desired subconscious changes. We are all familiar with the saying, ‘There is more than one way to skin a cat’. The information here pertains to the repetition principles, and hopefully guides as intended to the awareness of focusing on and using emotional sensations. And all the while, other ways are, indeed, correct as well.
This is an exerpt of a book I'm working on. Any and all feed-back is appreciated.
